Reflection: I never realized the impact that our Dental Hygienist community. I have worked as a Dental office manager and a dental assistant but had no idea the outreach that the American Dental Hygienists' association (ADHA) has on our specific occupation. It allows for networking with others that are working toward the same outcomes expanding our professional outreach as far as possible.

Reflection: I have not personally experienced an incident where I have had to perform CPR to an individual in distress, but I have had to utilize many other skills that I learned and developed attending training. It guides me in my development professionally and personally in my responses during emergency situations. This allows me to provide optimal care to my fellow dental community individual's and patients that I will be providing care for in the near future.

Reflection: Privacy of patient personally information is an area that I have watched develop over my time while working in the administrative field. Looking back we had minimal protection for information being sent over this NEW era of communication we call the Internet. We learned the repercussions the hard way as we all navigated the new ways of communication and discover our information being stolen. This training is so important to educate on protecting personal information.
